Packhaus Wien is providing exhibition opportunities for young artists under the title 'Hubport' to help them get started after the pandemic. Galerie Rudolf Leeb was invited to design this format.

We start with the young painter Susanne Herresthal, who lives in Vienna.

Susanne Herresthal is a young painter living in Vienna. She says of her work: "In my artistic practice, which focuses primarily on painting, I am currently working with the motif of decay. This is conceived in social terms and affects various areas. Be it a snapshot of the perceived collapse that is becoming more and more apparent in today's world, the actual collapse of the prevailing ecosystem, or political decay. Although the painting initially appears colorful and coherent, at second glance (color) compositions become visible that initially seem unfamiliar. In this way, the contradictions that exist in the real world are reflected in the paintings and familiar viewing habits are broken.
