Gallery Rudolf Leeb City store
As part of the Vienna City Gallery Walk, our first exhibition was opened in our so-called city store. In cooperation with Anita Münz, we are showing changing exhibitions every month. The first of these is by artist Desislava Unger, who is presenting new drawings and books under the title pole position silence.

Stay at home! - Gladly.
Fear, uncertainty, in a capsule called home.
What if you were never allowed to travel back to where you actually came from? - The connection with the past would disappear, childhood would be erased.
Motionless, waiting. Silence, like a balloon around me.
Thoughts fly by, I stop some, allowing me to create new worlds and realities.
I begin to play, with colors, shapes, textures, to free myself. Outstretched hands, parts of people walking, dancing, disappearing.
Drawing is a process that I give free rein to. Step by step, like walking. Seemingly aimless at the beginning, lurking for the stop signal at the end.
And sirens in the background.
The exhibition is on display until October 24, 2020.
